A Sketchbook is a book of blank pages for artists to drawing in for work, practice or enjoyment. More often an artist will plan out a drawing with a sketch book before working on the final product. They can also be used to make Picture Diaries.
Love HIna
In the manga/anime series Love Hina, the main character Keitaro Urashima is occasionally seen drawing in a sketchbook. Many of his sketches are of pretty girls. In episode 2, he sketches a picture of Shinobu Maehara. Because of his friendliness toward her, she sketches a picture of him in a good light in his sketchbook.
