Orphen reminisces to his training with Azalie. Meanwhile, Dortin and Volkan try to complete the Ritual of the Summit of Light. Orphen explains how the ritual is performed, and that it causes a massive anti-sorcery field to be created. Back at the Tower of the Fang, Childman and Hartia discuss what it takes to restore Azalie, saying that it might take a person's life to restore her. Lei, the school's seer, tells them where they can find Azalie/Bloody August.
Meanwhile, Childman does battle with Azalie/Bloody August, and nearly overcomes her, before Orphen triggers the ritual, forming the field and blocking him from sealing Azalie. Flameheart intervenes, but is overcome. Childman saves Flameheart from certain death, but ends up being wounded with his own dagger. Azalie uses a white magic spell to swap bodies with Childman.
Bloody August, now containing Childman's Soul, fends off one of Azalie's attacks and retreats. As Orphen and company walk through a nearby forest, Azalie/Childman walks past, commenting on what a beautiful night it is.
