Side 7 consists of only one colony, and is the home of the Federation's top secret "Project V."
One Year War
Side 7 only consisted of one incomplete colony during the One Year War. Despite its condition it housed the Federations V Project and the researchers and their families. The location of the project was top secret until it was jeopardized when White Base docked to take on the mobile suits they had been developing. The White Base was unable to outrun Char Aznable's Musai in time before getting to Side 7. Char sent three Zaku pilots into Side 7 for reconnaisance of the suspected project, upon finding the weapons unassembled one of the Zaku pilots took it upon himself to attack the operation. The resulting battle would wipe out the majority of military personelle from the White Base and stationed on Side 7 itself. Amuro managed to comandeer the Gundam before the Zaku's discovered it, allowing him to destroy the attackers and successfully help the military equipment and civilians evacuate the colony.
