Sid Barett while he was alive

While Sid was alive, he was a Three-Star Meister and a teacher at the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA). That was until he was killed by a Statue of Liberty figure piercing him through the head. His body was take and reanimated by the sadistic scientist and Meister, Franken Stein. His demon weapon partner is Mira Naigus.

Creation

Soul Eater Volume 1 JPN (2004)

The character of Sid Barnett is a supporting character of the manga/anime series Soul Eater that was created by Atsushi Ohkubo. The series first began publication in Square Enix's Gangan Powered on June 24, 2003.

His first appearance was in Soul Eater Volume 1 CH. 1 "Remedial Lesson [Part 1]", and his first anime appearance was in Soul Eater - Episode 3 "The Perfect Boy – Death the Kid’s Magnificent Mission". His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Masafumi Yamamoto, and the U.S. dub produced by FUNimation is done by Kent Williams.
