Optimus is infected with a deadly virus and the only place the cure is located is in the mind of the comatose Megatron. Leading Bumblebee to link his mind with Megatron's to find the cure. Meanwhile Starscream and Knockout plot to end Megatron's life in a way that will not cause a civil war among the Decepticons and leave them as the undisputed leaders by convincing Soundwave to take Megatron off life support.
(additional note: the two dead autobots seen at the beginning of the episode might have been Ironhide and Perceptor)
