Quickie: FUNi Loves Pantsu, YouTube Hates 'Em

A post on the FUNimation blog notes that YouTube has pulled an episode (#9) of the moe romance series Shuffle! due to a scene in which a character's panties are shown. Awwww. And this is the same series FUNimation released in a box set that came with a pair of panties, too! (Pictured, left, with photography credits going to Mistakes of Youth.)


But don't worry, you can still watch it-- at FUNi's own video on demand site, conveniently enough. Here is the dubbed version, and here's the sub!

I'm surprise that this dosen't happen more offen in anime with it on thses type of web site.  I went and bought the hole show Speed Grapher on XBLA marketplace and things they show on that show would ever have got on their if it was a live action show.  Don't get me wrong I like the fact it's on their mind you.

Which is odd considering FUNimation is an approved YouTube video partner.  Bandai can have full blown nudtiy on their Code Geass YouTube episodes, & yet Funi can't show a simple pair of panties?

Nebs: I'm guessing it has to do with different staffers who overview it-- and whether any viewers submit complaints.

What kind of moron would complain about Shuffle having fanservice yet wouldn't about Code Geass.... that just seems so....messed up.

Clearly the idiot complainer isn't getting much action, hehe. Don't see what's wrong with panties? We all, I hope, wear them. =)
And I agree with HeeroYuy. Youtube allowed one of the girls to completely expose her breasts. (Code Geass, Epi 19)
