Ace follows the rumors that follow Blackbeard and make him pay as a criminal among pirates. Those rumors led to Alabasta and a bounty hunter calling himself Scorpion Man, who is aiming for Ace.

Summary

Opening Theme-

"Believe" by Folder5

Most of these events didn't happen in the manga. Though this is a filler episode. There is one canon event at the end.

Points of Interest

  • The only canon event in this episode is when Ace gives Luffy the piece of paper and leaves. Though in the manga, this scene happened on the Going Merry.
  • Vivi sounds surprised that Ace, a famous pirate in Whitebeard's command, would have a bounty?
  • Nami douses the camp fire. It's good to douse a fire after you are done, but what is a camp fire going to burn down in a desert?
  • Bullets can't harm Ace since the Devil Fruit he ate was a Logia type. That wont be revealed until episode 325.

Closing Theme-

"fish" by The Kaleidoscope
