Breakup

The term given to a couple who has decided to cease their relationship.

Reverse Harem

If a "harem" anime features one man surrounded by female love interests, a "reverse harem" features one woman surrounded by male love interests. Prototypical reverse harems: Ouran High School Host Club, La Corda d'Oro, Fushigi Yugi.

Romantic Drama

Romantic Drama is a concept used in series to create tensions of highs and lows in order to leave the audience in suspense over an outcome in a romance based series.

Seinen

Traditionally aimed at an older audience than shounen, seinen manga are typically much more realistic and mature than their shounen counterparts, but also tend to contain more explicit material.

Sh┼Źnen

Literally means "boy" in Japanese, but is also used to refer to Japan's biggest manga demographic: pre-teen and teenage boys.

Yaoi

A sub-genre of shoujo and/or josei manga featuring boys and/or men in homosexual relationships.
