History
Originally founded in August of 1922, Shogakukan is one of Japan's largest media publishers. Their North American arm was originally called ShoPro Entertainment, which merged with VIZ Media LLC in 2005.Shogakukan is one of the largest publishers of Anime and Manga in the east.
