History
Growing up with his grandfather at a shrine, Doumeki is a top archer and also has the ability to repel spirits. As a result, Yuuko suggests that Watanuki stay close to Doumeki, as his spirit-repellent may counteract Watanuki's spirit-attractant. Later in the series, when Watanuki lay dying, Doumeki worked with Himawari to present a wish to Yuuko (the only time Doumeki has managed to enter Yuuko's shop): for Watanuki to survive. Yuuko agrees, but Doumeki has to give up the same amount of blood Watanuki has lost.Personality
Cool, calm, collected, and often sarcastic, Doumeki provides a significant foil to Watanuki's constant freak-outs.
