Persona 4 is a manga adaptation of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 video game for the Playstation 2. It's the sixth game of the franchise and was developed as a murder mystery RPG with deep social aspects. It was developed by ATLUS in Japan, directed by Katsuro Hashino, and character design by Shigenori Soejima. It was released in Japan in July 10, 2008, and in the U.S. on December 9, 2008. The Persona 4 manga is written by Shūji Sogabe, the artist for Persona 3 manga, ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Black Maoh magazine on September 19, 2008.

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children is based off the spin-off games of the Shin Megami Tensei series on the GameBoy Color, developed by Multimedia Intelligence Transfer and published by Atlus. Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children, based on the Red and Black book, initially ran from October 2000 to September 2001 in Japan. The follow up series, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children: Light & Dark, based on the Light version and Dark version, ran from October 2002 to September 2003.

Persona: Trinity Soul is a sequel to the PlayStation 2 game Persona 3. The story takes place ten years after the events of the game. There are 26 episodes in the series.

Persona 4 The Animation is the third anime of the Shin Megami Tensei, and the direct adaptation of the story from the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 video game for the Playstation 2. It's the sixth game of the franchise and was developed as a murder mystery RPG with deep social aspects. It was developed by ATLUS in Japan, directed by Katsuro Hashino, and character design by Shigenori Soejima. It was released in Japan in July 10, 2008, and in the U.S. on December 9, 2008. The announcement of the anime was released on April 11, 2011, the very day of the Persona 4's story begins.The series is directed by Seiji Kishi, music by Shoji Meguro. It is produced by AIC A.S.T.A. and Aniplex, and has aired in Japan on various distributors, such as MBS, TBS, and CBC. The first episode is set to air in October 6, 2011 It ran for twenty-five episodes, and the last aired on March 29, 2012.

The Anime Network and Sentai Filmworks acquired the rights to distribute Persona 4 in North America, and The Anime Network streamed the series for free off their website. Though they had originally intended to release the DVD/BD in America with both the English and Japanese audio tracks. The Japanese license holders forced Sentai Filmworks to remove the Japanese audio from the Blu-ray version one month before it's release. The first part of the series was released on September 22, 2012.
