Golden Lion Shiki is the captain of the Flying Pirates, and the first to escape Impel Down. He ate the Float-Float Fruit that lets him make any object fly.

Creation
Shiki is an antagonist in the One Piece series that was created by Eiichiro Oda. The series first began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump on August 4, 1997. He would later appear in the tenth film in the One Piece franchise. Unlike with many other anime based movie spin-offs, Shiki is a character that is tied into the main One Piece canon. The film is directed by Munehisa Sakai, written by Hirohiko Uesaka, and Eiichiro Oda both producing and providing character designs, It was release in December 12, 2009.
His first appearance is in One Piece CH. 0 "Strong World", his first anime appearance is in One Piece - Episode 425 "The Strongest Man in the Prison! Poison Man Magellan Appears!", and his main film appearance is in One Piece Film Strong World. The voice performance for Shiki in the Japanese series is done by Naoto Takenaka.
