After the most recent chapter, it seems that the battle forum will probably erupt with awesome threads involving yamamoto, just saying, its gonna happen. i wouldnt be surprised if he was pitted against a DBZ character soon, hes pretty damn strong!

@taichokage: nah, i think that hes gonna use that stupid bankai thing, right now it should be te only thing that gets him a win, but if he does somehow win without it then yea your right

theres only a few people who have the possibility to stand up to this power in the HST, which involve Kuma, Obito, Black Beard and the Bijuus but i lean less towards them because they cant reverse his attack if he lands it.

I'd say no to the biju other than 10 tails and Tobi maybe if he wields it. Kuma yes. He is more hax than people give him credit for. Blackbeard as you said is also powerful, but he would have to unleash his best because he couldn't get too close (in other words, Quake away Teach!) but yeah this is awesome. At first I though I would be disappointed. I had always pictured his bankai as a bigger and at more intense version of his shikai. But it essentially is that. FAR more intense and it actually effects a much greater area than his shikai. But what Unohana said said is what really got me. She said that he needs to hurry or else he would destroy Soul Society (which actually translates into the world in spiritual terms and would cause the real world to vanish as if one goes, so must the other). In short, we may have our first planet buster from the HST (possibly excluding a healthy and serious Whitebeard). Not since DBZ has there been a mainstream (highly popular) shonen with planetary threats that I know of. I hope Yamaji breaks this spell. But he even goes beyond just destruction. The intensity of his attacks is awesome too. But the reason I say Juha might be an equal or greater power is because he will likely wind up with this bankai, and because unlike Yamaji, he has yet to go all out (No Volstanding for instance).

@DBZ_universe: true, but you have to take into consideration the heat. no one in DBZ have been shown to tank 15 million degrees they can barely tank lava which is much less hot

@DBZ_universe: idk that much heat?? and im pretty sure a kamehameha is force not heat, but its not really known say its kinda here say, but its whatever. I dont think he could beat many mid to high tiers of dbz, im just saying people can now make a good case on it.

The problem with Amaterasu is the whole sun thing hyperbole. But the heat with his bankai seems to be legit.

But as for FIRE power ( Literal ) he would beat even nuova shenron

@eddz99: Yeah but those flames cover his entire body so even if someone attacks him they will be burnt right away, the guy is nigh invincible in his bankai to physical/tangible attacks.
