A young manga and OEL publisher.

Seven Seas Entertainment was founded in 2004 by Jason DeAngelis to publish original English-language manga, although in 2005 expanded to include licensed manga and light novels from Japan.

Seven Seas still focuses primarily on its original titles, which are generally published online as web comics and then collected into books. Their more popular titles include the romantic comedy Aoi House and Amazing Agent Luna, and their title Hollow Fields (by Madeleine Rosca) won the first-ever Kodansha International Manga Award.

For licenses, Seven Seas tends towards moe series such as Kashimashi, He Is My Master, and Venus Versus Virus. The company also annonced that it would be focusing on a yuri line, including titles like Tetragrammaton Labyrinth, First Love Sisters, and The Last Uniform. In 2007 they also announced that they would be establishing a yaoi line, although their first license (In God's Arms by Yonezo Yamada) was never released and was quietly removed from the company's website.

Seven Seas' novel line includes several series that were adapted into popular anime, including Zero no Tsukaima, Shinigami no Ballad, Kanokon, and Kage Kara Mamoru.
