Selnia Iori Flameheart
Daughter of a wealthy English family studying at the school.
Selnia can be summed up in a few simple words, arrogant, loud, overconfident, proud to the point of stupidity, and relentlessly competitive with the other female lead. Despite the super obvious character flaws she somehow remains the most popular girl in the school (it's an all girl school, go figure). Although most of the really bad flaws only float to the surface around Akiharu, who is completely dismissive about her heritage, and generally just pisses her off to the point where her nickname "drill" actually has credible meaning. When Selnia gets angry, her hair actually does spin like a drill. Which is almost, in and of itself, enough to make you laugh, but coupled with the nonsense she spouts when she's that pissed off, let's just say that tears of laughter were shed.
Selnia just happens to be the first girl at the school to meet Akiharu, and immediately starts to make a nuisance out of herself due to the foul mood she was in prior to Akiharu's arrival. Eventually, when Akiharu has enough of her attitude and turns to walk away she takes a swing at him from behind. Akiharu however has good instincts when it comes to such things and dodges the punch by ducking (personally I don't think it was very ladylike of her to try and punch him in the first place). Then, in a typical ecchi fashion, Selnia topples forwards and somehow ends up on the ground with Akiharu straddling her, and groping her breasts. After a brief spat of confusing whining on her part Selnia doggedly pursues Akiharu around the entire campus, arguably the cause of every supposed perverted scene that occurs as Akiharu attempts to flee from her.
When Akiharu is eventually admitted Selnia takes every opportunity early on to degrade or insult Akiharu, calling him "commoner" most of the time as a futile counterpoint to the drill comment. The vast majority of the time however her taunts fall on deaf ears, as Akiharu just does not seem to care at all what she calls him. Eventually, in a very predictable fashion, Selnia starts to develop feelings for Akiharu, either due to his kind nature or some other cliche bit of garbage that anime girls always seem to fall for. This creates another point of contention between her and the other female lead. But, as it turns out, she is the first to kiss Akiharu after he saves her from drowning (how she started drowning in the first place continues to elude me).
