"Your first love never works out. Who the hell came up with that?"
It seemingly starts off with a high school boy named Ritsu wondering why he fell in love his senpai, Saga, because of some trivial thing. Their hands brushed up against each other when they both reached for the same book. Ritsu pulls away immediately and starts blushing a lot. Due to some inner monologue, it was implied that Ritsu had confessed his feelings to his senpai. There are some scenes shown of them kissing.
Then an older looking Ritsu wakes up in shock realizing that he's at work. His editor-in-chief, Takano, just glares at him for slacking off. Ritsu questions why he had a dream about Takano of all people and yells out in anger. It cuts to an advertisement of how the creators of Junjo Romantica are now going to animate the slightly realistic romance in a publishing department series: Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi!
Apparently, Ritsu heard the announcer and stares in both shock and disbelief that the manga is going to be animated. He then yells out in anger again and demands that someone tell him this is a dream.
