Harry McQueen is a shy 17-year-old who gets picked on by school bully Chris and his gang because they know he won't fight back. Harry's imagination is his escape route; fantasizing that he's the hero of one of his favorite TV shows, he retreats behind the screen into an imaginary world where he can kick Chris's butt. Then we begin to see another side to Harry. When his friend Kate, who has always stood up for him, is kidnapped by the bullies, Harry suddenly appears to save her, though he has no idea how or why. And then a bizarre series of murders occur. Based on the manga by Night-Head-creator Joji "George" Iida and Asami Tojo, set in the fantasyland of the U.S. (and loaded with American names, clearly aimed squarely at a foreign release from the get-go), this might at first sight seem an unlikely project for the studio that brought you Jojo's Bizarre Adventures, but events soon take a turn for the surreal.
