Permanent marks left on the body after a deep cut or wound. Mostly given to characters with a history of violence.
When a deeper wound on the body is made, the body will try to regenerate the lost cells by replacing them with cells that are more resistant against physical damage but less resistant to infections. What is left after the regeneration is a biological, semi-permanent mark known as a scar.
