Tsundere Mash-Up

Welcome to the third Tsundere Mash-Up blog (female edition)! Our combatants are Saya Takagi (Highschool of the Dead) and Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière (The Familiar of Zero). I pick these two because they both have pink hair and share a higher status in society. I find it interesting that most tsundere female characters are blonde.

For those who are unfamiliar with Tsundere characters, here is a definition by our Anime Vice wiki editors:

"Tsundere" is a portmanteau of two Japanese phrases: "tsuntsun" and "deredere" and refers to characters who act hostile to the object of their affections, but secretly (or not-so-secretly) harbor feelings for them.

Facts

I tried not to give too much facts that leads to spoilers. Beware of the facts I give if you are looking forward to try these series.

  • Saya Agata is a rich and smart girl from the HOTD franchise where she and her gang have to fight zombies (Them) in order to survive.
  • Saya's love interest is Takashi Komuro. What is interesting is that she displays most of her tsundere traits on Kohta Hirano, a gun otaku.
  • She is more abusive in her words, and Kohta is the only one who does not mind Saaya's insults.
  • Example: When Kohta gets pick on by her father's followers, Saya finally appears and backs him up.
  • Louise is from a noble lineage of mages, but she sucks at magic. She tries to summon a familiar but ends up summoning Saito Hiraga.
  • Louise's implied love interest is Saito.
  • She gets jealous and usually beats or whips Saito whenever she sees Saito talks with other girls.
  • Example: Louise gets jealous when Saito and Tiffany hang out. (I don't have an exact example. Feel free to add one.)

Given the facts, who do you see as the most/better Tsundere character?

How could I say no that that face?!
How could I say no that that face?!

It wasn't that long ago that I wrote my blog post announcing that I had completed the profile of Highschool of the Dead character, Saeko Busujima. Well, I have done it again with two more HOTD characters. If you go and look up both Saya Takagi and Alice Maresato, you are going to find that every portion of their profiles are completely up to date with the latest events from the manga. The entire Major Story Arcs section has been filled for both of these two.

Saya's even influential in her sleep.
Saya's even influential in her sleep.

Now, I've also completed the profiles for several of the characters from the same series, but they are mostly support characters who don't appear much. Two of those being the characters Rika Minami and her ill-fated partner, Tajima. Doing the main cast is much more of an undertaking since there is so much to fill out in their Story Arcs segment.

Anime Vice is easily the owner of the largest source of information on the Highschool of the Dead series. All the manga volumes are filled out, as well as the anime episode pages. Even the fanmade wikis dedicated to HOTD don't have all that information. They don't even tell you when these characters first appeared. You can only get that on Anime Vice.

Only thing really left to do is to make sure the fans of the series know this information can be found here. Thankfully, Ethan and the rest of the staff have added to the site in a way that might help. You can check out his blog post Wiki Editors.... Vote for your pages. With this +1 system on the wiki. It's suppose to help promote the pages. I don't know if they're effective, but I don't see how they can hurt. I've already +1ed them, but readers can help out by doing the same on Saya's profile (currently has +2) and for Saeko Busujima (currently has +4).
