Saori is a camera person in the broadcasting club of the Sket Dance franchise.
In her flashback, she and Sakiko go to the same middle school and had the same crush on a boy. However, Saori is too timid and bashful to confess her feelings. She decides to sneak a letter into his shoe locker. As she waits for the boy, she sees Sakiko (who is fat) grab her letter and crushes it and replaces it with her love letter. Because of Sakiko's actions, Saori hates Sakiko.
Saori is created by Kenta Shinohara. Saori has no information on any inspirations used to create her. Saori first appears Sket Dance volume 8 and episode 28. Her Japanese voice actress is Marie Miyake.
Saori and Yagi go to SKET Dan for a documentary on their club's activities. When Bossun and Hime tell them that all they do is boring stuff, Yagi presents them with a case on the glass man who is breaking windows. After Bossun and the gang realize that the baseball club has no alibi or connection to the case, Saori attempts to help them by telling them to look for a code.
At night, Bossun and the gang catches Sakiko who is about to break the reception room's window. When Bossun learns about Sakiko's story about her being blackmailed to break windows, Bossun realizes who is the real culprit. He catches Saori who is taping them. Bossun and the others learn about Saori's grudge and her past (see origin). Saori has a change of heart when she hears Bossun telling her that she has not change while Sakiko change and found love again. She decides to turn herself in. Yet, SKET Dan turn themselves in to cover up for Sakiko and Saori.
Saori makes a second appearance with her camera crew as they video taped Shinba's show.
