An intergalactic bounty hunter, Samus Aran is usually seen in her power suit constructed by the Chozo race. She is often hired by the Galactic Federation to halt the progress of the Space Pirate's plans and is oftentimes involved in the extermination of the Metroid species.
As a child Samus had spent her days with her loving parents in a peaceful planet. One day a horde of space pirates came to there planet to retrieve a bounty. There leader, Ridley (a pterosaur like dragon) had massacred the people of the colony, soon after he even went so far as destroying the planet. Being the sole survivor of her people Samus was found by the Chozo who adopted her and brought her to there planet Zebes. In order to survive the harsh atmosphere of Zebes the Chozo had combine her DNA with there own. After words she had been taught to fight and survive in order to make her into a perfect warrior; when completed the Chozo had given Samus one of there artifacts, the Power Suit (which is a exoskeleton that operates in sync to your mind and body). Samus had joined the GFP (Galactic Federation Police) for a period of time, now working as a professional bounty hunter. Also on the occasion, samus is called apon her previous employers (GFP) to do high ranked missions.
