Samurai Champloo Forum

After playing Red Dead Redemption, I had this thought of what would Samurai Champloo be like if it took place in the Old American West? Gunslingers instead of samurais. 
 
My anime knowledge doesn't go far off, so I don't know any animes that take place in the Old American West. there have been Space Westerns like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. It'd be interesting to see what Shinichirō Watanabe's take on old school Westerns.

I just check it out. But I'm interesting to a Western in the style of Samurai Champloo.
