Plot This anime is about Saki Miyanaga a first-year student that is talked in joining the Mahjong club. She was chosen because of her amazing skill. The club also features Nodoka Haramura is a first-year, who was the previous year's National Middle School Individual Champion and plays the vice-captain position (4th) on the team, Yuuki Kataoka is a first year student at Kiyosumi High School and plays the vanguard (1st) position, Hisa Takei is a third year student at Kiyosumi High School, and plays the lieutenant (3rd) position on the team she is the president of the mahjong club, as well as the student council president, Mako Someya is a second year student at Kiyosumi High School and plays the sergeant (2nd) position and last Kyoutarou Suga is a first year student at Kiyosumi High School. He was a classmate of Saki's back in middle school and is the one responsible for bringing her to the Kiyosumi mahjong club. This team works together not only to win the mahjong tournament but to achieve trust, understanding and friendship.
