Plot Synopsis
Saki: Episode of Side A is an adaptation of a Manga, that is its self spin-off of the popular Saki Manga. "Episode of Side A" is about a Mahjong Club that forms to meet their old friend Nodoka Hatamura after they see her win a Mahjong tournament on TV. The series is produced by Studio Gokumi not Gonzo who produced the original series. It is still however directed by Manabu Ono, and written by Tatsuhiko Urahata.
