Saint Seiya Forum

I will not pretend to be someone who knows the first thing about Saint Seiya (unless the first thing is "it's an anime," which I do know), but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate some of the items that were unleashed at Bandai's TAMASHII NATION 2009 exhibit, which spotlighted a bunch of Bandai titles and products.

Among them were three items from Saint Seiya, neither of which are familiar to me but both of which look amazing. One is the Pegasus's Cloth Box, made of wood with an outer relief made of "FRP and urethane" (beats me). The thing weighs 44 pounds, but it comes with convenient straps for lugging it on your back.

The other item is the Gold Cloth of Libra, which looks decidedly less like cloth and decidedly more like...gold. It can supposedly actually be worn, but no word on what the material is-- it almost looks too shiny to be just real gold, but I'm no expert on the matter.

The third item is the Gold Cloth of Sagittarius. Did I mention these are all life-size, by the way? The Gold Cloth of Sagittarius is gorgeous, helmet, wings, bow, the works. I can't even imagine how much work this stuff took.
 
...I also don't think they're for sale. Yeesh.
