According to Ikeda, this sequel focuses more on Tsukune's friends and how they face off against an organization called Fairy Tale. In the prequel, the story focuses on Tsukune and how he struggles to coexist with the monsters at his school.

Publishing History

Rosario + Vampire II is the sequel to Rosario + Vampire; it is written and illustrated by Akihisa Ikeda. It began its serialization in Jump Square magazine in November 2007. Shueisha begins formatting the chapters into tankobon starting on June 4, 2008. Viz Media release the first English version on April 6, 2010.
