Overview

Based on a visual novel that was created by 5pb, its anime adaptation is produced by Productions I.G and broadcast by Noitamina and Fuji TV. It is directed by Kazuya Nomura.

Licensing

For audiences outside of Japan, it is available via simulcasts on Funimation and Hulu.

Plot

It's about a school club that has a passion for robots, the Robotic Research Club. There are only two members, Akiho and Kaito, and the two must save their club by proving themselves in taking first place in tournaments. Meanwhile, the Anemone Incident's dark secrets are leaking out when a mysterious A.I. appears.

Major Cast

	Kaito Yashio (八汐 海翔） Voiced by: Ryohei Kimura A laidback student who's only interested in playing KILL BALLAD. He's the operator of the Tanegashi Machine, a hobby robot for the tournaments.
	Akiho Senomiya (瀬乃宮 あき穂) Voiced by: Yoshino Nanjo A hyperactive girl whose ambitions is to create a giant robot like Gunvarrel. She also aims to build a big club after tacking some robot tournaments.
	Suburu Hidaka (日高 昴) Voiced by: Yoshimasu Hosoya A smart guy who has a alternate persona called Mr. Pleiades who is very flashy.
	Junna Daitoku (大徳淳和) Voiced by: Sora Tokui A shy girl who is a newly recruit in the Robotic Club.
	Frau Kojiro (神代 フラウ（こうじろ ふらう)) Voiced by: Kaori Nazuka A female hikikomori who is the creator of the video game, KILL BALLAD.
	Airi (愛理（あいり）) Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya She's an AI who has hidden knowledge such as the Kimijima reports which she cannot access by herself.

	Fujita Tetsuharu (藤田 鉄治) Voiced by: Nobuaki Fukuda Known as "Doc," Fujita is the grandfather of Junna and is the owner of a machine parts store.
	Ken'ichiro Senomiya (瀬乃宮 健一郎) Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya Ken'ichirō Senomiya is Akiho and Misaki's father who is the head of JAXA in the Robotic;Notes franchise.
	Mitsuhiko Nagafukada (長深田 充彦) Voiced by: Youji Ueda Mitsuhiko Nagafukada is a teacher and club advisor for the Robotics club in the Robotic;Notes franchise.
