Koizumi Risa the protagonist of the anime/manga/drama series Lovely Complex.
Koizumi Risa is our main character for this series. She suffers from a height "complex" as she sits at 172 Centimeters(5ft 8 Inches). Risa comes off as brash, loud, and violent. She has a strong wall of defense around her and she was always been picked on for being taller. But she is also sweet, caring and compassionate and wants nothing more to fall in love and get a boyfriend.
Risa is often confused as part of the "All Hanshin Kyojin" with her friend Otani. The series starts out with Risa partaking in a friends "Who can find a significant other faster" bet with Otani, of course with a little friendly wager on the side. As the series progresses Risa realizes that she is developing feelings for Otani.
