So we just pimped a FUNimation announcement, so let's give some equal time to VIZ. VIZ issued two press releases today, and the first should be very exciting to you guys who don't have the SyFy channel or are busy on Monday nights: the first two episodes of Monster, dubbed in English only, are now available on iTunes. You can also buy a season pass to get access to the episodes as they continue to be posted, for $25.99. This covers "season 1," whose length I'm not entirely sure of-- check back here and when I hear back from VIZ I'll have this updated.

It's a little tough to find Monster on iTunes due to the commonness of its name, so here's a link to make it a bit easier. VIZ will be adding two new episodes every week, the day after they air on SyFy's AniMonday from 8pm-9pm.

Also new from VIZ: the first collected physical volume of InuYasha creator Rumiko Takahashi's Rin-ne, which will hit bookstores in the US on the same day as they do in Japan, October 20th. I haven't been very good at keeping up with the chapters online, oddly enough, so I'm really looking forward to checking out the collected volume. Stay tuned for a review!

Meanwhile, here are the press releases.

Okay, companies, I'm on a roll. Who else has press releases for me?

It's not available in the UK! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Man, I thought this might give me the incentive to actually finish Monster. Got about halfway through and forgot about it. Oh well :( Back to subs I guess.
