Rin Asano

A girl of sixteen when the story begins, and daughter of the head of the Mutenichi-ry ū dojo. She hires the immortal swordsman Manji to protect her as she seeks out the Ittō-ryū and its leader Anotsu Kagehisa to punish him for killing her parents. While her father was the head of a sword school, she herself does not usually fight with a sword. Her favored attack is the “Flight of the Golden Wasps” where she takes a set of throwing knives and places one between each finger on both hands and throws them at the opponent all at once.

At times she appears to show feelings for Manji, but nothing has come of it yet.
