Ridicule

Ridicule is an anime episode of Death Note that was released on 05/29/2007

Near and Lester go to Japan. Near informs Light of his trip, claiming it is bait for Kira, and Light silently accepts the challenge. Near reviews what he has learned so far and decides on a way to beat Kira. He knows that Light is Kira, that the one who is doing the will of Kira has Shinigami eyes and that the two are using Takada to communicate between them. Light meets with Takada and hands her a letter saying he would like her to carry out the judgment of Kira. Takada then asks Mikami to send her five pages from the notebook. She tells him that he will continue his work in a fake book made to look like the real one. Mikami wonders what his God is up to, but decides not to question Him. During one of Sakura TV's broadcasts, Light realizes that an SPK member is acting as Takada's bodyguard, ex-CIA member Hal Lidner, and wonders what Near is up to. Elsewhere, Near wonders who Kira picked to carry out his will and deduces that it is Mikami by watching old TV broadcasts. While walking to a broadcast, Misa and Mogi run into Takada. Misa rushes her, jealous that she is not the most popular star, but is stopped by Hal. Soon after, Takada requests a girl-to-girl talk with Misa, who accepts. Hal sits in with them. By the end of the conversation, Takada is convinced that Misa is stupid and Mogi is left to deal with a drunk Misa. Hal reports to Near about the love triangle between Light, Takada and Misa. Near is pleased by the information. Elsewhere, SPK member Giovanni watches as a drunk who had harassed a young girl dies after Mikami writes something in a notebook. It convinces the SPK that their assumptions are correct.
