Revival

Revival is an anime episode of Death Note that was released on 03/27/2007

The episode begins with the Kira task force prepare to arrest Higuchi. They manage to get his Death Note, which allows them to see Rem. When L gets it and touches it, he can see Rem, leading him to realize that Shinigami really do exist. Light touches and screams as he gets his memories of the Death Note back to him. He begins to type down the criminal names into his computer and smiles wickedly as he said "I've won. Exactly as planned."

Then a flashback came that all what Light did of erasing his memories is all according to his plan to get himself cleared.

However, Light will lose his memories if he lets go of the Death Note, because Higuchi still owns it. He manages to slip a piece into his watch and write Higuchi's name with his blood. Higuchi dies from a heart attack and Light plans to kill L next.

Inside the headquarters, they read the rules on how to use the Death Note. The two new rules reveals that if the note is destroyed, everyone who touches it will die and once someone is writing in it, they will have to keep writing until 13 days. Light has revealed to make these fake rules and plans to kill L for defying him.

In the morning, Misa is shown leaving, much to Matsuda's sadness of it. Light orders her to get something from a forest. When she touches the other Death Note, Misa regains her memories. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember L's real name. Just then, Ryuk comes back and Misa hugs him, causing him to turn intangible because of being shy. Misa makes the Shinigami eyes deal with Ryuk in order to get L's real name.

When she and Ryuk got back, Rem has saw Misa's lifespan is halved again due to her deal. Misa gets Light to touch a piece of the other Death Note so that he can see Ryuk. When Light asks Misa why did she give up half of her life, she replies that she wants to be useful.
