Hey everyone, I need your help on the Reverse Harem page. I don't have a strong list of archetypes. I wanted to mirror the Harem concept page, and they have a big list of archetypes.

We need to brainstorm.

This is what I have so far. Please don't laugh at my choices.

Reverse Harem Archetypes

Childhood Friend

He is a close friend or care taker of the female lead.

Examples: Luca,

Lone Wolf

He does not want company or does not know how to interact with other people. Sometimes, they're outcasts who are shunned from society.

Examples: Nova, Julius Monrey,

Flirtatious Guys

These guys are bold and assertive and can serve as unwanted attention.

Examples: Peter White,

Megane

People who wear glasses.

Examples: Julius Monrey, Pace,

Bad Boy

Sometimes, the female lead likes guys who do bad things for attention. They often think that they can tame the beast.

Examples: Blood Dupre,

Yandere

These guys would do anything to protect their love interest. Some would go to the extent of stalking our young heroine, killing other guys/love interests, or drugging/trapping our young heroine

Examples: Toma (Amnesia)

Tsundere

Guys who act like a jerk, but they have a soft side.

@Destinyheroknight:

I had trouble picking the default image

Oh yeah, I got a twin example, too. Go ahead and add those.

For Pretty Boy, how does a character qualify? Some of these Shoujo or non Shoujou titles have tons of Bishie.

@takashichea:

Bishie that what I mean, I just forgot how to spell it.

Qualify by having other characters saying they pretty or hot, they like to hold rose. They pretty much what I got

You can add them, since you are already editing the page (just giving a helping hand)

Man, it's going to take a while to make Reverse Harem wiki page as good as the harem wiki page. I only tried two out of the whole crop of these shows.

If you guys and gals know a few titles, you are all welcome to add some short synopsis, characters, or any other details.

@Destinyheroknight:

Should we add women to the archetypes? I didn't want to call it Lesbians even though there are some shows that have a female character liking the main female lead. I'm thinking of a polite name for this category.

Ex: Queen Vivaldi (during the Alice in the Country of Clovers)

Could Yandere and Tsundere also be considered an archetype since both harems and reverse harems have them?

@RavenBuster:

My apologies. I didn't see your comment. You can reply to me, so I can see your response and reply quickly. I always reply back most of the time. Yeah, those will apply. I add it to the OP and wiki page if no one had added it.

Thank you for your contributions.

I don't have an archetype for you, but I just thought of a Yandere example: Ikuto Sonomura from Kuro to Kin no Hirakanai Kagi. That boy's got some loose screws, for sure :))

@whiskers:

That's great, more examples. He's better than my example. Thanks!
