Revenge Road

Revenge Road is an anime episode of Bubblegum Crisis that was released on 07/24/1988

Plot Summary

J. B. Gibson is a man out for revenge. After he and his girlfriend, Naomi, were brutalized by biker-gangs while on a drive, Gibson has been lusting for payback. With the assistance of expert mechanic Dr. Raven, he begins heavily modifying his car - a 2021 HMJ Raven. Making it faster, and with more armor, so it's unstoppable, and allows him to run the biker gangs of MegaTokyo off of the road.

Things come to a head when the Highway Patrol, unable to stop this rampage, calls in the AD Police, and when Priss ends up getting injured in one of his rampages. Priss and the Knight Sabers begin an investigation, as Gibson modifies his car even further, allowing him to control the car essentially with his mind (and in the process making the car look even more like the Batmobile). Dr. Raven fears for his protege's sanity and safety, and asks the Knight Sabers to intervene, as the AD Police set up a roadblock for the Griffon.

Priss, using Mackey's own prototype super-bike (which can only be ridden in a Hardsuit), manages to catch up with the Griffon and rescues the two. Gibson ends up going to prison for his crimes, but keeps his life. Priss on the other hand, having totaled Mackey's bike in the process, ends up having to rebuild the bike.
