Usopp tries to stop Franky from taking the money, but fails and is beaten again. His slingshot is tossed away. The sound of stomping can be heard on Usopp, but in one shot no feet are moving.
Aboard the Going Merry, Nami protects the remaining money, surrounded by pistols and a variety of swords. None of the crew has ever been shown to fire a gun, and Zoro is the only swordsman and cares little for weak blades. It's unknown where these weapons came from. Franky takes the money and leaves.
Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper arrive to tend to Usopp, but he'd gone. Chopper finds a blood trail. Luffy falls out of the sky and lands in the water next to them.
In Iceburg's office he deals with the Government official, Kogi. Nico Robin's wanted poster in hanging in his office. Before Iceburg can even finish requesting what he wants to drink, Kalifa presents that she's already had some tea made. (Have any of you ever seen the old series M*A*S*H?) Kalifa asks what Kogi is always coming for. He tells her that he's after something that he has, but declines to even let him know it exists.
Outside Franky House, the guys find Usopp severely beaten and unconscious.
The boys are very serious to exact revenge. They flash back on their memories of Usopp. Luffy bursts into the Franky Family's party and the fight begins. It's odd how surprised they are to see Luffy's crew, after what they did to Usopp. Luffy pulls out a new technique called Gum-Gum Cannon.
The Franky Family fire five cannon balls at the crew, but Zoro is seen slicing six and there are only three explosions when they land.
They aren't even a slight match for Luffy and the rest. Luffy gives the order not to leave any bone unbroken. The Franky House is destroyed in an explosion.
At the Blue Station, the Water 7 Sea Train Station, Franky hears the explosion and thinks his men are just getting over excited. He gets on the train and leaves.
The Franky House is now leveled and Chopper tends to Usopp's wounds. Luffy finally makes his decision on the ship. They will be parting with the Going Merry.
