Ren Akatsuki

Creation

Ren Akatsuki is created by Hiro Mashima as a minor character in the Fairy Tail franchise. He has no information regarding any inspiration used to created him. He first appears in volume 16: chapter 132 and episode 52. He is voiced by Masaya Matsukaze in the Japanese version and an unknown voice in the Funimation version.

Evolution

Appearance

Ren is a tanned skin man with a messy, black hair and a side ponytail. Like his Trimen members, he wears a black suit with the Blue Pegasus insignia on his left shoulder. In his post-time skip, he has no side ponytail and has two long fringes.

Personality

He is a tsundere especially around Sherry, his crush. Though, he does that when he flirts with women along with his Trimen members.

Relationships

• Sherry Blendi - He does not state he is in a relationship with her. He adamantly denies that he likes her, but he blushes near her.

Powers and Abilities

He is a mage who specializes in wind magic. He can create a barrier where he can drain oxygen to suffocate his foes, and he can levitate objects using just air.

Attacks

• Aerial Shot - Ren blasts a powerful force of air that can pick objects such as rocks as projectiles.
• Aerial Phose - Ren first uses this attack against Arania Web in the Grand Magic Games. It creates a barrier of wind that blows his foes away.
