A remake of the original series created to promote the live-action movie directed by Hideaki Anno.
A mysterious organization known as Panther Claw makes their presence terrorizing Tokyo. The Japanese Police Force and the Riot Police is not enough to reject them and are confused over the emergence of a vigilante, a mysterious woman who thwarts the schemes of the Panther Claw and then disappears.
Her name is Honey Kisaragi, the result of an experiment by Professor Kisaragi. Honey can magically alter her physical appearance and her equipment. But with the touch of a button of her heart choker, she transforms into Cutie Honey, the Warrior of Love and Justice.
