Raven is one of the core Teen Titans and the daughter of the demon named Trigon.
Raven is one of two girls in the core Teen Titans team. Her telekinetic powers are strongly linked with her emotions, meaning if she lets her emotions go out of control, her powers will do the same. Because of this, she tries to stay calm at all times, sometimes coming off a little cold. Her home, Azarath, was destroyed by her father Trigon (an evil demon of legendary proportions) but was later restored, possibly along with Raven's mother Arella, after Trigon's defeat.
More often than not Raven is a very seclusive person who keeps herself occupied in her room. Although she appears very apathetic and cold toward her teammates, she cares deeply for them. At many points in the series, it's established that she is very much emotionally defendant on their friendship. It is from them that she is able to find hope, even when she has no faith in herself.
