Rave Master

Overview

Haru Glory sets off in his journey with his dog Plue to find the Rave and bring down Demon Card organization. He encounters Elie in Hip Hop City, and the two embark on a quest to find the Rave and Elie's memories. In Punk Street, Haru Glory meets Hamrio Musica and unites Musica with his grand father after destroying Lance's Dark Bring. Later on, Hamrio Musica joins Haru's growing group as they confront Elie's mysterious past. Haru Glory and Elie's friendship blossoms after Haru defends Elie to the end from Sieg Hart. Haru vows to control Elie's Etherion and to find out her past. Haru and his group finally clash with Glory Raregroove (King), and Haru gains closure with his father after his battle with King. Although King is dead, Haru meets King's son, Lucia Raregroove, (who was presumed dead in King's flashback) in the lands of Symphonia.

Anime and Manga Differences

The anime version of Rave Master ends earlier than its Manga counterpart at the end of the Symphonia Arc where Haru meets King's son, Lucia Raregroove. The reason for the anime's early end is still unknown. However, the manga series has reach a conclusion to the whole Rave Master story.

Hiro Mashima

Hiro Mashima is the creator of Rave Master. He states that creating a storyline for this series was difficult. In the manga volumes, Hiro Mashima states that he loves mysteries which he has included Elie's amnesia as a part of the story. Even though Mashima thinks it is a cliche anime role, he wants to make the readers surprise and think about Elie's pasts. (Needs manga volume citation for evidence). Hiro is also the writer of the popular manga and anime Fairy Tail, which is a current big hit just like Rave Master was when it first came out.
