Ranma ½ Characters

Akane Tendo is one of Ranma Saotome's many fiancées. Her father owns the Tendo Dojo, and she stands to inherit the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts by marriage.

Azusa Shiratori is the female half of the Golden Pair, which she forms with her partner, Mikado Sanzenin.

Shampoo's Great-Grandmother, the leader of the Amazonian tribe and the owner of Cat Cafe.

The Father of Ranma. He turns into a panda when in contact with cold water. Even though he is a master of Anything Goes Martial Arts, he is extremely lazy and generally thinks with his stomach.

The perverted Grandmaster of the Anything-Goes School of Martial Arts, Happosai has taught Ranma and Genma Saotome and Soun Tendo. He is one of the strongest and most perverted character of the Ranma 1/2 series and is fond of stealing women's undergarments.

One of Ranma's Rivals in high school.

The oldest Tendo sister in Ranma 1/2. She is the most domestic of the three sisters and handles almost all of the household cooking and cleaning in the Tendo household. Kasumi is also mildly oblivious to the world around her and greets everything with a cheery attitude.

Kodachi is the sister of Tatewaki Kuno, and one of Ranma's fiancees.

A ghost of a girl that once lost an object that Ranma and Akane search for.

Mikado Sanzenin is the male half of the Golden Pair, which he forms with his partner, Azusa Shiratori.

Mousse is a master of the hidden weapons fighting style. He is in love with his childhood friend Shampoo. He turns in to a Duck when splashed with cold water. He is very! nearsighted. Often mistaking trees, statues, other people, ect. for other people.

One of Akane's sisters. Nabiki is the middle child with a blunt personality, and also goes to the same school as Ranma and Akane.

Nodoka is Ranma's mother.

Dr. Ono Tofu is a skilled physician that appears in Ranma 1/2. Normally a man of sound mind and capable ability, he completely loses his senses any time he encounters Kasumi Tendo.

A cursed Character and Villain in Ranma 1/2.

The principal of Furinkan High who happens to be Tatewaki and Kodachi's long lost father.

A teenage martial artist, who is a boy...usually.

Ryoga is the rival of Ranma. He has horrible sense of direction and is constantly getting lost on his way to battles, even if they're in his own backyard. He is also cursed to turn into a pig whenever he is exposed to cold water.

An Anime-only Character in Ranma 1/2. He is a ninja, and also the Caretaker and servant of the Kuno estate.

Successor to the Martial Arts School of Tea. He claims Akane to be his wife.

Shampoo is a Chinese Amazon who turns in to a cat when splashed with water. Ranma beat her in battle and she is his wife according to Chinese Amazon Law (much to Ranma and Moose's dismay).

The old training partner and friend of Ranma Saotome's father Genma. He arranged with Genma for one of his three daughters to marry Ranma in order to carry on the tradition of the Tendo family dojo.

A master swordsman who is in love with Akane Tendo and Ranma's female form.

a new teacher at Furinkan High, and very popular with the girl students.

Torasama Kobayakawa is the original mentor of Furinkan High School, and runs a hidden shop in the old section of the school.

A childhood friend of Ukyo who pursues Ranma to duel him, in order to win Ukyo's heart.

Ukyo Kuonji is one of the Ranma's fiancées, and an okonomiyaki chef.
