Oh cool! They're doing a movie for this show. Thanks to BigHeart711, I tried the anime last week and finished all 12 episodes with my little sister. We both loved it and how it went from generic magical girl to dark and unique.

I don't know if I'm right, but the guy who did Fate Stay Night also works on this anime series. I was like what?! I think it was Gen Urobuchi. Yeah, it was him. That guy had talent.

Thanks for the trailer!

I really hope this isn't a rehash of the tv show

@Destinyheroknight: The first two (listed in my post) are supposed to be of the original Madoka Magica season split in two parts (a contemplation of events that took place, I believe), with the third film actually being the one that has new content/story for the franchise.

I am not sure I like the idea of new content. The fact the ending was not perfect...left things in the mushy middle was philosophically fitting (this is japan where balance is important) and satisfying. I hope they don't destroy it...but seeing the series with a movie budget will be awesome though..

@takashichea: yeah he wrote fate stay night and fate zero, but he directed madoka magica and fate zero (only wrote fate stay night didn't direct it)

@zaldar: yeah seems weird since they tied that series up tight.
