Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid

Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid is an anime episode of Sailor Moon that was released on 04/18/1992
This episode begins in Queen Beryl's headquarters, where she and Jadeite are scheming up another plan to steal human energy.  Jadeite shows her how music with "subliminal high-frequency waves" can steal a plant's energy.  He summons the monster Kurene, and tells her to put the subliminal waves into the humans' music.
Coincidentally, Usagi and Naru are listening to a classical music CD by an artist named Yusuke Amade.  Yusuke is shown standing in the rain outside of Jam Records and saying that he is going to finally confess to someone.  Meanwhile, the monster Kurene slips a tape into a player in the same building.  However, she is interrupted by Ms. Akiko, who is apparently Yusuke's producer.  As Kurene hides behind a plant, she prepares to attack Akiko as Akiko takes the tape, thinking it is the one the monster switched it for.  Akiko's coworker shows up and tells her that Yusuke is there to see her, and Kurene misses her chance to attack.
Akiko brings the tape to Yusuke and presents it to him as his demo tape, still not knowing it has the subliminal waves on it.  Although it is supposed to be a meeting for business purposes, Yusuke is more concerned about the fact that it is Akiko's birthday and brings her flowers.  Their meeting is interrupted by the coworker from before, who tells Akiko she is needed at the radio station.  Yusuke never gets to give her the flowers, and she runs away telling him to come up with a name for his demo tape.  Since he is soaked from the rain, she says he can use her pink umbrella in the lobby.  Yusuke seems disappointed by the fact that she did not notice the title which was already written on the tape - "A Waltz for Akiko."  Kurene watches this scene from a distance.
While walking in the rain, Usagi decides to stop at the arcade.  Before she can go in, Yusuke crashes into her while running down the street.  She falls to the ground and is upset that her new outfit is ruined.  She scares Yusuke so badly that he begs for his life.  Apparently, Yusuke has noticed that Kurene is after him and mistook Usagi for her.  He recalls seeing Kurene appearing in an alley with a swarm of bats and attacking him.  When he runs away, he drops Akiko's umbrella.  Usagi listens to his story and walks him to the music club where he works.  Since he does not have dry cleaning money for her, he gives her his name and number and tells her to call him later.  She finally realizes that he is Yusuke Amade from the CD she listened to earlier.  Kurene speaks with Jadeite, who appears on a pile of TV screens.  Jadeite tells her that if she does not get the tape back, her life is over.
Usagi follows Yusuke to the music club, but Luna tells her that they will not let children in.  Usagi uses the power of the Disguise Pen and tells it to change her into a "cool grown-up musician."  Inside the club, she wears Luna on her shoulder and tells her to stay still and act like an accessory.  The waiter asks her what she wants and she says she wants cream soda.  He says that they don't have cream soda, so Usagi says she wants nothing.  Taken aback, the waiter leaves.  Usagi listens to Yusuke play the piano, but falls asleep by the end of the song.  Yusuke leaves and catches a ride with a friend in the parking garage.  He pulls out a picture of Akiko and comments that she did not understand that he wrote the song for her.  He notices a group of bats on the ceiling, and turns to the elevator door to see Kurene.  Kurene takes the tape from him and says she is going to kill him for wasting her time.  Usagi interrupts and throws something at her.  Kurene grows a giant pair of bat wings and flies away.  When Usagi checks on Yusuke, he is only concerned about getting the tape back.  For some reason, he takes Usagi with him in his car while he pursues the monster.  Kurene leads them back to the radio station, where she has put all of the staff to sleep.  She attempts to broadcast the tape over the radio, but she is interrupted again by Usagi and Yusuke as they take back the tape.  She transforms into a green, purple and black bat-like monster.  She takes Akiko hostage and tells them to give her the tape.  Yusuke saves Akiko while Luna retrieves the tape and breaks it.  Kurene flies out the window while Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon.  Sailor Moon confronts the monster and says she will not allow her to use music for evil.  Sailor Moon uses nearby equipment to bounce back Kurene's sound waves at her, weakening her enough to use her Moon Tiara Action attack and defeat her.
As Akiko bandages up Yusuke's leg, he finally confesses his feelings to her.  Later on, Usagi and Naru are listening to Yusuke's music again.  Luna and Usagi mention that they heard Yusuke got married.  Naru says she is devastated because she had a crush on him.  Usagi is holding the cover of Yusuke's new album, which has a picture of Sailor Moon standing on a crescent moon on the front.
