Hi there! If you are reading this then that means I either offended you or impressed you with my amazingness (hopefully the latter). For those that aren't aware I'm a moderator at Giant Bomb (unless Hamz or MB have finally come to their senses and demoted me) that posts here for fun. In fact I almost never post about anime on this site and have in fact made it my objective to become a well known poster for Off-Topic on this site. In fact I can make a pledge right here and now that I will never RP or discuss Battles ever on this site. Beyond that I can in fact say that I'm not really a fan of anime or manga despite being part Japanese myself (if you are wondering I can't speak or read Japanese). When it comes to the wonderful world of animation my knowledge and tastes are more for traditional Western Animation. I also follow the underground animation scene as well as the animation of the Middle East and Europe. In fact if you wanted to know what is my favorite animated film it's currently Waltz with Bashir. On that note I consider Chuck Jones the greatest animation director ever to grace the face of the planet and love the works of Ralph Bakshi and Don Bluth.
 
Beyond that I love to blog about politics, news of the weird stuff, and anything Whiskey Media related. I also have a penchant for making egregious spelling errors and being able to find funny pictures and video clips on the internet.

Wait you said you don't comment on Battle threads, but I swear I saw you post a comment in a battle thread?

That was trolling/griefing. I only comment on a Battle Thread when I have the opportunity to have a little fun with the Anime Vice community.

No. Well I should say my type of trolling doesn't seek to insult or offend anyone. Instead it seeks to entertain and humor people by playing a character or by being my normal dismissive self. I like say that I grew up from the  Shawn Elliot school of griefing:
  You play a character (I resent the term "Role-Playing") and have a little fun. I do have some rules if you wanted to know:

• People must be aware that it is just a joke (YES EVERYTHING I SAY ON BATTLE THREADS ARE MEANT AS A JOKE! DO NOT TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!).
• There must be willing participants (I'm not breaking into character and have no one notice).
• You play a character (i.e. Ralphie in the Shawn Elliot video).
  
• The activity does not disrupt the actual discussion or the original intent of the thread. A "debate" can continue to exist with the act in play.
• In character insult towards other users are not intended to actual harass or irritate other users.

 

Every now and then I'll hear you mention "ZombiePie Story Time" on a thread. What's that about?

That's where I tell a funny anecdote that's anime or Japan related. I have plenty to tell and most of them are at my own expense. Here are some examples:

• Calling Kelleth a monster and then talking about Pokemon cards and importing Japanese anime VHS tapes on Newten's perverted anime character bunny thread.
  

• Explaining how I got banned from a Full Metal Alchemist fan site for impersonating physicists such as Sir Issac Newton and Albert Einstein whilst explain how all of the attacks in the show were scientifically impossible in stringent detail.  

• Talking about how I watched Elfen Lied with the president of my college anime club shit faced drunk. I remember nothing story wise but I do remember running to get the president sandwich bags to vomit in because I could find a bucket. Then his girlfriend cam into his apartment and saw him with pike in his lap because the sandwich bags weren't all that big. She told him he should go to the hospital and he responded by saying "Don't be RIDICULOUS! I'm FINE!"
  

For a guy who "doesn't like anime" you sure do know a lot about anime.

Not a question, but I see where you are going. For me anime was a phase when I was a teenager. This is not to say that anime is a phase for everyone. Whatever floats your boat. Also getting VHS tapes from my Japanese grandmother straight from the source when I was a kid means I know more than I let off but not as much as I would like. 
 

Why do you accuse various things or persons on the forums as being "part of the problem?"

That's something I just do. Think of me as part old crotchy man and part internet troll.  
 

If you don't like anime then why post on Anime Vice?

Because I'm having a lot of fun doing what I'm doing right now. Also I always root for the underdog. Double also I post on Screened but not so much on Comic Vine. Comics intimidate me more than anime.
 

Dude you sure do post a lot of junk in Off-Topic.

It's not junk it's material for people to enjoy. I get a good number of comments for my Off-Topic blogs that I feel justified in posting them. 
 

How is someone as immature as you a mod on Giant Bomb?

I'm a different type of person on Giant Bomb than I am on other Whiskey Media sites. I busted my ass on the Community Spotlight for years and really care about the community on Giant Bomb. I work hard to keep the wiki and forums clean and awesome whenever I can. Also if there are any users that think that I don't do anything on Giant Bomb moderator related I would like to direct you to this chart:
