@DocHaus: Little fanservice? What about barely any? Actually, I would say that the viewer has to interpret certain characters as fan service bait for them to be that. @CrazyCanuck: The amount of characters and how they are used is definitely what sunk this show in its last act. Just terribly uninteresting. Too long for when I think this show could have ended. I don't think that I would give up on this show after just one episode, because it's not often I come across a small town story like this, but that's just me.

Yeah, Shiki is not two words. This will not end well, your experience with Shiki. If you do continue watching this, I have faith that you will be as disappointed as I was with the last third of the series. I slogged through the last of it. It lost me once it got to a certain point.

I would disagree on the difference between the game and the anime concerning party size. Of course the game limits the number of people you have in your party to the typical size, but in the cut scenes, they act as if everyone has been in on the fight, so I think this is consistent.I love that the party's so big now that they don't even care about shadows, and ...
