Chase then notices two more people entering the tent. One was a man and the other a little girl, both supernatural. Chase didn't like looking at their souls, especially the little girl's. Even with the weather being as hot as it is, Chase couldn't help but to shiver every time he looks at the girl's soul. It is as if her soul is a fragile container that's holding back a blizzard. It also prevents Chase from being able to read her personality and soul in great detail. Chase had never seen a soul as cold before in his entire life and maybe he was imagining it, but the soul also looked incredible lonely as well.....Chase decides to stop starting at the little girl's soul, yet he couldn't stop wondering and even be a bit worried of who or what she truly is.
They eventually sit down in the middle of the tent. The man wrapped his arm around the child and stared at Chase, almost as if he was waiting for Chase to make a move. Chase silently sighs and drinks some more whiskey, while thinking to himself, Does this guy think I'm a pedophile? Chase continues to do his best to ignore the presence of everyone else in the tent, but was having a slightly difficult time of doing so with an overly protective parent watching him.
The archeologist was surprise to hear another voice, so surprise in fact, that he didn't even listen to the words that were spoken to him. The archeologist looks around the man in front of him, trying to see if he could find the person where the voice had come from. It is so humid outside, that the archeologist begins to sweat and his sweat travels into his eyes. With the archeologist's eyes being bothered by the his own sweat, it was hard for the archeologist to spot anything beyond a few feet in front of him, so the archeologist figured that the man in front of him must have a companion. While the archeologist wipes his eyes with a piece of cloth, he says, "I didn't notice you had a companion with you. Anyway, the both of you could just go to that tent over there. You'll probably find some others waiting there for Mr. Smith's explanation. You guys are after all here for the rescue assignment....correct?"
