It’s early in the morning and the sun’s rays slowly began to engulf the forest. It was quiet and serene, and the only sounds that could be heard were the soft chirping of the birds and the babbling of the stream. This was the perfect time to meditate in solitude.
Téa was floating above the stream with her eyes closed and legs crossed. She sat on the air just focusing on training her mind. Training the mind is as important as training the body. One must familiarize themselves with the connection that lies between the mind and body. Once one possesses full control over their mind, many secrets of the body can be unlocked.
After meditating for what seemed like an eternity, Téa finally began to reach the height of her concentration. She smiled to herself, proud of her accomplishment. She was almost there....she almost reached 100% concentration.
"Breakfast is ready! Come and get it!" yelled an all too familiar voice. It was her adoptive father. Téa’s eyes flashed open, revealing deep blue irises. “Damn old man! I was so close!” she yelled, as she descended onto the ground. She picked up her towel, and dried her short black hair, then placed it around the back of her neck. But she was hungry afterall, and meditating for this long sure did drain her energy.
She reached her home and walked into the kitchen. She saw that Raizu has already began his meal, and she sat down next to him. The frown was still evident on her face, and it got even worse when she saw what they were having for breakfast. “Frogs! Again!” she yelled, as the intoxicating smell of the soup found its way into her nose. She pushed the bowl to the side and reached for some bread from the bread basket. “I’ll stick to this.” She said as she took a bite of the stale bread.
