@jewl122: If you live over in the USA its worth checking out Hulu as they have a lil anime on there I believe. Failing that no matter where you live (well pretty much) Crunchyroll is the site to check out as they show a lot of new anime. Amazon is also a good place to look if you don't mind parting some cash. They usually have most things albeit slightly expansive. 

@PenguinDust: Yeah your blogs were what really brought my attention to the series in the first place = P I think it didn't help that I was watching Robotech thinking it was Macross..... Cheesy American dub and dated animation kinda made me cringe somewhat. After watch that clip however and reading your post has made me want to give it another go, thanks!
 
@adoggz: Yeah you have a fair point. It's not that I'm not used to this era of anime. I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z which I'd say only has a lil bit better animation than this. Then again at the time I was 6 or 7 and I guess the quality of the animation didn't bother me as long Goku was gonna go and beat up another alien or something.

Basically I tried to watch Macross today but well I just felt it really hasn't aged well art wise. What I was wondering should I keep at it even if it looks incredibly dated? Or shall I try another series within the Macross franchise?

I'd actually say to watch the dub then maybe go back and watch it subbed. This in my opinion is really because the great epic speeches and one liners produced through this series aren't quite the same when spoken in the subbed version only because it's in Japanese and the majority of us aren't X D It's not so spine tingling when Kamina starts ranting about Team Gurren when its in Japanese.... Or maybe that's just me = P 
 Either way at least watch the first few episodes dubbed to see how you go.

At the moment I've been playing a bit of Civ 4, Halo Reach and Super Mario Galaxy 2 along with hours upon hours of Minecraft. I can't wait for the Halloween update!

Yeah I've had problems with adding volumes to an established series as well = / I thought it was just my browser but maybe thats not the case.

Hey guys, just wondering should I bother watching all of the 'Endless Eight' arc in Haruhi Suzumiya? I've watch 4 of them so far and well I haven't noticed anything major thats different....  
Basically will I miss anything if I skip straight to the 8th episode?

Hey guys I was just wondering does anyone know where I can get Region 2 versions of Dragon Ball / DBZ? All I can seem to find is Region 1 versions and well thats no good when you live in the UK without a Region 1 DVD Player X D  
 
Anyways if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

If you don't mind going places you can check out Forbidden Planet stores. They do have an online shop as well but I've never brought from that. Failing that maybe go to MCM in London? They have loads of manga/anime to sell and such plus most of the merchants there have sites etc so you could then order from them in the future.

I find Amazon have a good range of anime and manga tbh its just not easy to find or being sold via Amazon not directly by them.

FLCL is great but not greatest in any shape of the imagination. This is because no matter how great the art and music was, how funny the off the wall comedy combined with the classic 'coming of the age' story is, it doesn't change the fact that its only 6 episodes long. 6 episodes of awesome-ness yes, but by the time you get into it, its over.  
Even my favorite anime (Evangelion) I wouldn't class as the best. I personally don't think the best anime has came around yet and maybe it will never will. Or maybe it'll just slip under the radar. The closest I would say is Angel Beats! just because its funny, has a great story line, engaging characters, it isn't dragged on but isn't too short and it was the first anime that made me cry X D  
The greatest anime (in my opinion) will appeal to many audiences and I just don't think FLCL (or Evangelion for that matter) does that.

 I would say level 13 will probably be my limit until I watch/read some more One Piece so I can do that quest line. Thats unless a new quest line about one of the many anime series I watch are made which should help boost my level.

I would really like to see more articles about manga in the same vain as the 'Watch and Learn' stuff. Because its all well and good having loads of new anime to check out but now I'm kinda lacking on the manga front X D

I often post my blog posts onto Facebook so I can share my work with my friends/family and I was just wondering if there's a way to do so with my reviews? I just wrote a review and I couldn't seem to find the 'share with Facebook' link anywhere = /
