TriforceF: Favorites
1. Neon Genesis Evangelion

Possibly my favorite anime thanks to its unique mechs, non stereotypical characters and deep complex story line with a very phycological undertone that gets its audience thinking.

2. Dragon Ball Z

This was my gateway anime back when I was 7 and I still love it to this day. The perfect shounen in my books.

3. Gurren Lagann

The most epic anime I've seen to date. With big mechs, interesting characters and seeped in manliness how can this not be in my list of favorite anime?

4. Cowboy Bebop

The crew of The Bebop puts this anime into my list as I feel all five of are so different to each other and have interesting back stories that I really enjoyed. Plus Edward is the best comic relief an anime has ever seen (well on par with the Tachikomas)

5. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Stand Alone Complex introduced me to the best talking tanks ever. The Tachikomas! Who'd ever thought tanks with the minds the 10 year school girls would be so funny? Plus the main characters work so well as a team and all have a place making this just as great as any real world CSI-isque show. Not to forget the phycological undertone the show has about the advancements of technology that I find very interesting.

6. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2

Code Geass: R2 is heaps better than the original mainly because they spent all the first series developing the many characters and now finally they can put all that to good use! Its a lot more action orientated, even more cliff hangers and even more plot twists plus the same brand of light Geass humor you've come to expect (although a lot less than before).

7. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG

Although all my favorite characters return I found the Complex episodes not as interesting as series one, but with more background information about existing characters and Section Nines rivalry with Gouda its still an excellent series.

This is the craziest anime I've watched. Period. For that reason its awesome (along with the references to other Gainax material and the phycological undertone)

9. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

It may start of a little slow (first scene is a game of chess) but when it heats up you know about it! Full of plot twists, mechs and a little bit of light comedy combined together makes a great anime that'll keep you interested way after the series is ended.

10. Death Note

Death Note is a very clever anime that has a 'choose your own antagonist' feel that I found intriguing. I also liked the gothic approach to the art which I felt was unique.

11. Ah! My Goddess

Ah! My Goddess is my guilty please thanks to its heart warming tale coupled with a very relate-able main character and pulls of a romance comedy genre amazingly well without too much un-needed fan service.
