1. Michiko to Hatchin

Beautiful show, it is sad how few know about it. Manglobe is just an amazing studio.

2. Eureka Seven

Probably the most symbolic anime ever, the whole basis off the Golden Bough, but still keeping in entertaining! The characters every single one of them could have had their own show! Anemone.

3. FLCL

One of the most real things you will ever watch, minus the robots out of the head, the aliens, the guitar head hitting, the giant iron, the robot maid, and well everything else, but the meaning of the story.

4. Bakemonogatari

Some of my favorite art and one of the coolest ways to present a story.

5. Durarara!!

Another amazingly well presented anime, the way they blend the characters on personal lives together to form a complete story in the end. Vending machine and headless are the best.

6. Ergo Proxy

Tons and tons of references very dark, more symbolism than my mind can take, best distopia ever made.

7. Cowboy Bebop

Love this cast, hard luck women, brain scratch, and speak like a child, are all so incredible as is the whole series.

8. Samurai Champloo

Another beautiful manglobe piece, if you love bebop, check this out

9. Paradise Kiss

FOr any fashion lover, this is the perfect show, also very real in the characters.

10. Sailor Moon
11. Nisemonogatari

Eureka, FLCL, and Ergo are great! I haven't seen the others yet, though I'll be watching Bakemonogatari soon. I actually have heard of Michiko, but only in passing. So its pretty great, huh?
