UTB is a channel that shows Japanese drama shows, music, news, cultural information, and occasionally anime. They have been airing Case Closed last semester and this semester.

It's available on cox cable 480 and 18.2 for DTV (antennae and digital converter box).

Case Closed

It's about a young detective (Shinichi Kudo) who get attacked by some men in black and forced to take a drug. The drug cause him to revert back to a child. In order for Shinichi to get back to normal, he has to live with his childhood friend, Ran Mouri, and her father, Detective Kogoro Mouri, under a fake name, Conan Edogawa. Along the way, he solves every mystery while keeping his identity a secret to a few individuals. Once in while, Conan gets a chance to uncover secrets behind the organization that made the drug.

I saw the contest on TV and thought it would fun to inform the community and fans who loved Case Closed.

3 portraits will be picked by lottery - Winners will receive 5 volumes of Case Closed. Please don’t forget to include your name, address, telephone number, and email address to send this special prize to you. Also please give us your opinion on the program and any programs you’d like to watch on UTB in the future.

Announcement of Winners

Winners along with their drawing will be announced on March 24 (SAT) and March 25 (SUN), after the program “Case Closed” ends and also during UTB community information program “Yorucli” and on the UTB website.

The submission period is between February 1, 2012 to March 4, 2012.


They are giving away 5 volumes of Case Closed to the three winners. However, they did not specify what volumes they are giving. You have to email or call them.
